• How can I pay?
Course fees are to be paied by international bank transfer.
• Can I get a refund if I cannot attend the course anymore?
Unfortunately, school fees are not refundable.
• What happens if the group I booked is not activated?
If the minimum required number of 3 students is not met, the course will not be activated. This is why we suggest students to plan their trip to Japan with friends or classmates, so as to receive immediate confirmation of the course activation.
• By when do I need to pay course fees?
Course fees are to be paid no later than 3 months before the start of the chosen course.
• Do I need a visa to enter Japan?
Depending on your nationality, you may or may not need a Visa to enter Japan. Please check the japanese immigration site.
• How much do I need to pay for books and materials?
Textbook fees range from 3000 to 5000 yen.
• Will the host family host me for the entire duration of the course?
Usually, yes. In rare cases a family may not be able to host you anymore while you're here. In that case, our office staff will help you find a new accomodation.
• How much does homestay cost?
Homestay prices vary depending on the requests of each family. One month will usually cost approximately 70,000yen including breakfast and dinner.
• I have booked a course. When will I receive confirmation of its activation?
We'll send you a confirmation of activation of the course as soon as we reach the minimum number of students of your same level. However, we'll let you know whether your course will be activated no later than 3 months before the course starts.
• Is there a pick-up service for the students from the airport?
We don't offer a pick up service from the airport. However, getting to Shinjuku from Narita airport is extremely simple, send us an e-mail for further information on how to get from Narita to Shinjuku station. Also, our staff will meet you at Shinjuku Station Southern Exit to accompany you to the school on your first day of course, if you'd like to.
• How can I get to my host family's house?
If you have applied for our homestay program, you'll first meet the family at Yoyogi Language School. After that your hostfamily will take you home by car or by train, depending on the family.
